Admission is open to motivated and academically qualified children from all backgrounds. Students will be selected on the basis of test results, personal interviews with the candidate and parents, previous school records and recommendations. Because the resources of the academy are devoted primarily to the fine teaching staff, a superior academic education is provided at competitive tuition rates.

The American Academy meets the requirements of section 501(c)(3), including having a racially non-discriminatory policy as to students. The American Academy admits students of any race, color, and national or ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the Academy. The American Academy does not discriminate on the basis of race in the administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship and loan programs, and athletic or other academy-administered programs.

Registration Fee

A deposit of $300 is required in the spring before the fall term. This fee is non-refundable unless the academy determines that it cannot meet the needs of the student or there is no room in the grade. The deposit is subtracted from the fall tuition.

Tuition

The academic tuition is $7200.00 annually ($3600.00 per semester): Several possible schedules of payment are available. Tuition discounts are available for the third and subsequent child enrolled from a single family. Alternate payment schedules will be considered according to need. Book/materials fee will be billed as required in the second semester.
